A small satin heart emblazoned with the emblem of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union (ILGWU), a New York City based organization which was once one of the largest labor unions in the U.S. during the 1920’s and 1930’s. I imagine this sachet came with the purchase of a union-made garment.
August 27, 1947: Owner’s warranty for Crosley Shelvador refrigerator, front and back shown. The cabinet parts were covered for one year, and the “sealed-in-mechanism” warranty lasted five years.
